Hammed Ouattara -- Fine Art

Artist Profile

Hammed Ouattara is a Fine Artist.

Hammed Ouattara

In order to create unusual objects inspired by local African experience  I am particularly interested in objects that are round in shape and domed as they lend themselves to several interpretations while retaining  traditional character which I then use to the folds that I wish.

My goal is to provide a range of furniture,  Africa suffers from imports and all kinds of Chinese furniture, especially of poor quality which do not reflect our culture as our inspiration from traditional furniture carved by our artisan tend to disappear or even disappeared as a result of copying. My work makes a difference peoples living room and modern African sound design luxury that we offer in people homes

I create an African design which is consumed by Africans, drawing from common everyday objects to this market.
